Terms and Conditions

Article 1: General Agreement
Soweel provides wheelchair rental services ("Wheelchair") to customers ("Renters") under the terms of this Agreement. We strive to provide the best service based on mutual trust and relevant local regulations. Special provisions may apply and will take precedence if they better serve the safety and convenience of our customers.

Article 2: Rental & Usage

[Pickup]
(1) For your safety, please inspect the Wheelchair and report any existing defects to Soweel before use.
(2) Renters are encouraged to follow the provided safety guidelines for a smooth experience.
(3) We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover any unexpected personal injuries during your trip.

[During Use]
(1) Please handle the Wheelchair with reasonable care to prevent any damage.
(2) The Wheelchair is for the sole use of the Renter and should not be lent to third parties.
(3) Modifying or altering the Wheelchair’s structure is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

[Return]
(1) Please return the Wheelchair by the agreed date and time.
(2) If you need an extension, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Extensions are subject to availability.
(3) Late Return: A late fee may apply if the Wheelchair is returned after the scheduled time without prior notice.

Article 3: Rental Fees
Total fees consist of the Basic Rental Fee and Shipment/Delivery Fee.   Any additional charges (extensions, damages) will be billed separately.


Article 4: Limitation of Liability
While Soweel ensures all equipment is in good working order, Soweel is not liable for personal injuries or property damage caused by the Renter's improper use, negligence, or violation of safety instructions.


Article 5: Damage & Loss
In the event of loss, theft, or significant damage caused by the Renter's negligence, the Renter shall be responsible for the actual costs of repair or replacement.


Article 6: Non-Operation Charge (Loss of Revenue)
If the Wheelchair becomes unavailable for future rentals due to damage or loss caused by the Renter, a Non-Operation Charge (equivalent to 50% of the daily rental rate) may be applied for the duration of the repair or replacement period.

Article 7: Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Please review our cancellation policy below: 

  • More than 5days prior to rental start: 100% Refund (No cancellation fee)
  • 2 to 4 days prior to rental start : 50% Refund(50% cancellation fee)
  • Within 2days of rental start (including no-show): No Refund (100% cancellation fee)
